Hi, I'm Jess! When seeing me, you can expect a warm, compassionate, and genuine clinician who makes you feel heard. Whether you are looking for support during a challenging time or wish to gain a deeper understanding of yourself, I aim to provide you with a space to reflect, feel and learn.
As a therapist, I bring curiosity, humility, humour, positive energy, and presence to each session; It is important to me to show up as a real person, and not a distant expert. I believe that through the therapeutic relationship, clients can experience a new, healthier way of relating—being seen, accepted, and understood—which can repair old wounds from past relationships, foster trust, and reweave secure attachment.
True wellbeing goes beyond symptom relief, medication, or therapy alone. My practice takes a holistic approach, recognising that mental health is deeply connected to our emotional, physical, and relational wellbeing. Together, we focus on creating a more resilient brain—one that can adapt, recover, and move through struggles with greater ease. This means exploring practical tools and lifestyle strategies that strengthen your capacity to cope and grow, while also nurturing meaning, values, and supportive relationships. My aim is not just to help you through challenges, but to equip you with the foundations to live a grounded, fulfilling, and resilient life.
I am experienced in working with adults in a variety of settings such as private practice, outpatient group therapy, rehabilitation, emergency departments, public mental health case management, and crisis teams. I support individuals who have been through trauma and adversity, have anxiety, psychosis, or mood disorders such as depression and bipolar, and who are experiencing difficulties with managing emotion, low self-worth, problematic patterns of communication, conflict in relationships, finding their self-identity, stress and significant life changes.
I am also a board-approved supervisor and passionate about supporting provisional and early career psychologists through their final years of study and career beginnings. Additionally, I offer individual and group clinical supervision for continuing professional development.
