Hi, I'm Jess! When seeing me, you can expect a warm, genuine clinician who makes you feel heard. Whether you are looking for support during a challenging time or wish to gain a deeper understanding of yourself, I aim to provide you with a space to reflect, feel and learn.
As a therapist, I work from the belief that relationships are both the source of our deepest wounds and the space where true healing can take place. The therapeutic relationship itself can be a corrective emotional experience—one that fosters trust, empowerment, and the reweaving of secure attachment. I bring curiosity, humility, humour, positive energy, and presence to each session, honouring the uniqueness of every individual’s journey toward growth and transformation.
In my work, I attend to the whole person—mind, body, and nervous system—holding space for the adaptive strategies clients have developed in response to early relational experiences, trauma, and adversity. My approach focuses on co-regulation, pacing, and deep attunement, especially when working with complex trauma and/or attachment wounds.
I am experienced in working with adults in a variety of settings such as private practice, outpatient group therapy, rehabilitation, emergency departments, public mental health case management, and crisis teams. I support individuals who have been through trauma and adversity, have anxiety, psychosis, or mood disorders such as depression and bipolar, and who are experiencing difficulties managing emotion, low self-worth, problematic patterns of communication, conflict in relationships, stress and significant life changes.
I am also a board-approved supervisor and passionate about supporting provisional psychologists through their internships and masters students through their final years of study. Additionally, I offer individual and group clinical supervision for continuing professional development.
